Subsea Diaphragm Seal Pressure Gauge The Ashford Instrumentation range of sealed case subsea diaphragm seal pressure gauges feature an extremely robust sealed case which is machined from a solid stainless steel block and is capable of withstanding the external pressure of the seawater outside the case. Atmospheric pressure of 1 bar is trapped within the case and is used as the reference pressure against which the process pressure is measured. This style of gauge should be used when the pressure of the process media needs to be measured against atmospheric pressure at sea level. Diaphragm seals should be used when the process medial is not compatible with 316 stainless steel or if the process medial is likely to block the small process port on a conventional pressure gauge. |
