Pneumo Gauge Transit Screw

Ashford Instrumentation now fit as standard a transit screw to their range of standard pneumo gauges. The quarter turn screw locks the bourdon tube in place so that it is held rigit during transit. This cleaver design prevents the instrument movement from bouncing around during transportation significantly reducing the risk of damage and preventing the pointer from moving off the zero point. Pointer Removal Tool

The Ashford Instrumentation has introduced to their range a precision pointer puller allows the easy removal of pressure gauge pointers without damage to the pointer or spindle. This high quality instrument is ideal for calibration laboratories or anybody who has to remove the pointers from pressure guages. Differential Subsea Pressure Gauge

Subsea differential pressure gauge are now available from Ashford Instrumentation Ltd with a 160mm case diameter. Suitable for submerged depths to 450m, the case of this gauge is machined from a solid stainless steel block and is capable of withstanding an external pressure of 45 bar. The measuring system comprises two pressure measuring chambers separated by a duratherm diaphragm. This instrument is suitable for all gaseous and liquid media that are not highly viscous and that will not solidify, crystallize, attack or corrode 316 Stainless Steel. Set to protect 160mm diameter stainless steel pressure gauges at pressures over 14.5 bar, this order was part of an instrument overhaul at petrochemical plant in the Middle East. Lockable & Tamper Proof Handle For Needle Valves

The Ashford Instrumentation stainless steel bar stock needle valve is now available with a patented design lock off handle. Needle valves are used for the isolation of pressure instruments such as pressure gauges and for the regulation or throttling of flow within a pressure system. This product is suitable for the use on liquids, gas or vapour service and now can be supplied with an anti-tamper, free-spinning device to prevent unauthorised operation. The lock off device is manufactured from a non-ferrous zinc alloy which will not rust and uses a patented magnetic locking system that is fully weather and tamper proof. Unlike other security devices, the lock off device can be keyed alike so that multiple valves can be secured with the convenience of having only one key. GOST Approved Pressure Gauges

GOST approved pressure gauges are now available from Ashford Instrumentation Ltd as part of our on going comitment to ensure we offer the widest range of mechanical pressure instrumentaiton on the market. GOST standards were originally developed by the government of the Soviet Union as part of its national standardization strategy. The word GOST is an acronym for gosudarstvennyy standart which means state standard. The history of national standards in the USSR can be traced back to 1925, when a government agency, later named Gosstandart, was established and put in charge of writing, updating, publishing, and disseminating the standards. After World War II, the national standardization program went through a major transformation. The first GOST standard, GOST 1 State Standardization System, was published in 1968. After the disintegration of the USSR, the GOST standards acquired a new status of the regional standards. They are now administered by the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC), a standards organization chartered by the Commonwealth of Independent States.
